Correction:  The USA illegally and unconstitutionally imprisoned
innocent American citizens of Japanese descent during World War II.
We also unconstitutionally imprisoned innocent Japanese citizens who
lived in the US at the time but most (over 60%) were American
citizens.

Whilie I've never been a fan of Ronald Reagan, he did something good
and honest whilie he was president.  He formally apologized to the
Japanese-American victims of the internment.

Reagan admitted that the internment program resulted from "race
prejudice, war hysteria, and a failure of political leadership".  The
sentiments you express indicate you're suffering from the same
problems.
