Will wonders never cease?  I never thought I'd agree with Olson on
anything important and yet here he is making perfect sense.

What most of the right-wing morons fail to understand is that by
allowing the CIA to violate the human rights of prisoners, we bring
upon our own soldiers the same treatment, if not worse.  The worst
thing about leaving the moral high ground (not to be confused with
Bush's idiotic remark about the riding one's high horse on the low
road) is you can never regain that position.  The USA used to stand
for something in the way we treated others.  Since Bush became
Commander "of" Chief, all that has changed.
