Re: cleaner wiring solution needed



Have you ever used those "spear" bits, They're virtually indestructible, and
you can use a file in the field to sharpen them.

Yah I sharpen those long bits too. I definitely have my 18" auger bits
professionally sharpened..only cost 2 bucks each to sharpen. We go through
several a month and at 20-30 bucks new, it pays to get them sharpened.

A couple of weeks ago I bought 3x  24" bits at Harbor Freight for like 4
bucks for the set! 1/4, 3/8, and one other size cant remember. I figured
even if I got one hole out of each it would be worth it...turns out they're
not bad...so far have done 10 holes with the 3/8"
