First of all...  I don't have "an employer".  I *am* an employer.  Secondly
(and my opinion is based on the fact that I'm an employer), if I ever were
to receive an email which details the supposed misconduct of an employee, I
would without hesitation look into the matter.  This would likely entail
contacting the complaintant for more details, then calling the employee "in"
to hear his side.  This takes "time" ...  and time is a commodity that is
quite precious these days (and if we used Robert as an example, long
distance charges).  I would in the end probably respond the same way
Graham's employer did, but I would still resent the fact that I had to *take
the time* (and the effort) to respond to a complaint by some "twerp" in
another State, not to mention that the entire incident would now be a part
of the employee's file.

You're entitled to your opinion, Bill...  I've received several emails that
state quite the contrary (and none have used the expletive you've just
expressed above).
