If that was all he'd done I'd agree.  However, you continue to ignore
the fact that Kerry actually placed himself in harm's way to save the
lives of his men.  That makes him a hero.  Also, he didn't "simply
show up".  He volunteered for service and then he volunteered for
combat duty.  That also makes him a hero.  Your boy, the Shrub, not
only didn't volunteer.  He ran away when it was his time to serve.

I didn't want to go any more than Dubya but at least I showed up when
called.  Bush ran away and only avoided prosecution because his
family was politically connected.  Now he's sending heroes to die --
not for our country but for his ego.  That, sir, is treason.
