Re: OT: Physicians for a National Health Program

You're not ever going to budge Bass off his yellow dog Democrat stance,
especially if you quote real facts to him. Bass is convinced that the BBC
plays it straight, even when you show him evidence from the BBC itself
castigating itself for its own liberal bias. Most of his rants seem cut and
paste, but some are entertaining and a few even thought provoking. If you
want to boil him up just quote a NPR source for your facts, not Fox news.
Besides Bass has a point. Just how trustworthy is a news source like Fox
News that has to always remind you that they're "Fair and Balanced"?
Everyone has a bias of one sort or another. In most cases it is easy to see
Fox as leaning right while NPR, CBS, NBC, ABC MSNBC, CNBC, leans left. I
think Bass is one of the 5 or 6 regular viewers for MSNBC's Keith Olbermann
program. But even Bass would know never to waste his money trying to
advertise there. It would be cheaper just to call up the other 5 guys
watching the program and tell them about his web site. His other regular
sources seem to be http://www.dailykos.com/ and http://www.moveon.org/ but
I think even they're a bit too conservative for him at times.
