Yes she does. The circumstance doesn't warrant a CMH (if that Hasan guy
is determined to be an Islamic Terrorist working with a known terror
organization that could make a difference) - but a silver star at least.
Whatever the highest honor is in her organization should be coming her
way.
That said - just as one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch (babe)
one good one doesn't mean they are all like her. Heck, her own
commander said he's glad that SHE was the first one there.
I dealt with these clowns for twenty years and most (not all) of them
were there simply because they couldn't get on, or had worn out their
welcome with, the local PD.
Granted, I've not dealt with them since I retired and I do hope there
was better training and hiring practices since 9/11.
If that is the case (and, like I said, I hope it is) then it could be a
whole other story by now.
