I'm surprised he actually spoke to someone. I've had take-overs where =
the client said it'd take at least 3 weeks for someone who knew anything =
to call them back.

The last one I did the guy sent them a cancel-letter 30 days ahead of my =
take over - sent it certified return receipt. On the 31st day I did the =
take-over (of course there was no daily test in programming - actually =
no test at all). Then 2 weeks later he gets a call that he is late with =
his payment. Duh. I guess one dept doesn't talk to the other dept.

There is a place in this business world for us small guys, we just have =
to market the advantage to having someone who cares and is willing to do =
a good job to keep the client.
