Re: Want to move Brinks keypad



brinks requires fire wire to  be used for ALL keypads, smokes, heats,
ac, sirens, zone expanders and co detectors.....
brinks does not do commercial fire.....(yet)

I only run firewire to keypads if running a smoke off an expansion keypad. I
do run firewire for interior siren and power too...not required...just a
habit that makes sense to me.

Even commercial fire doesn't require firewire for keypads out here, unless
they've changed the rules in the past 2 years anyway.
