Same here.  I've replaced a few of them and none were tampered.

Don't worry about Brinks doing anything.  They don't give a rat's jiminex
what you do as long as you keep paying the monthly fee.  However, the Brinks
salesman probably never told you that their systems are proprietary.  AFAIK,
no one else can monitor them.  They'll make the system local (non-monitored)
if you pay a buy-out for the hardware.

If you decide someday to go elsewhere you might want to consider installing
your own system.  It's not particularly difficult in most cases and the
hardware is relatively inexpensive unless you're doing a huge job.

At any rate, go ahead and move the pad.  They won't do a thing about it as
long as you (1) tell them to put the system on test before you start; (2)
don't break it; and (3) tell them all is well after you're done working.  Be
sure to test the system after you finish.
