Everything you need is in the 1st 164. Says nothing about meetings or
even "having" a sponsor. It does say that to "stay" sober you should
work with others. Finding those who want to be worked with is where the
meetings came around.
Come on over ARAA and ask about non-religious sobriety - a lot of us
feel the same way you do. I think you have a tough enough skin to
withstand those that may vehemently disagree. ;)
