The one reason I got away from using the addressable stuff years ago,
was due to one event. I prewired a house with the Ademco addressable
pods, when it first was introduced years ago. Drops from all the doors
and windows all to where each module was going to be installed. The
houses were completed and one by one I was called back to complete the
installations. EXCEPT .......... for three of them which I couldn't
complete and no one else could either. I'd located all the module
points in the basement. These folks had finished their basements and
drywalled the ceilings. Since then, I've been called in by one of the
others to trouble shoot and ........... sure enough, drywalled ceilings
.=2E........ all the modules are buried.

If you're going to do it, make provisions for locating the modules in
locations that will be accessable.
