the way they do carpet out here there usually isn't much room under the
baseboards, so it's usually peel back enough to channel the tack strip then
lay the wire on the room side of the tack strip...or remove the baseboards
and slot the drywall then re-install the baseboards (yecho)...thank god for
good wireless systems.

| yea me too. I went out to take over a DIY system that had done this.
Also
| run wire down corner of walls for motions, a real mess. Declined the take
| over. Looked like a monkey had done the install with just enough phone
tech
