If you have a 'domestic' account then you get outsourced support -
India or somewhere like that - the quality is usually very poor. I've got a
BT Business package and with it you get UK support and so far they have
been excellent - recently their service was outstanding.
Btw I managed to get a BT Business package cheaper than the equivalent
'domestic' package.

BT 'support' is probably the most incompetent, woeful, frustrating nonsense
