Maybe it just depends what you want from the system.  All I've seen of
C-Bus
is the few items that Comfort sell.  That amounts to relay and dimming
units, a PC interface and a touchscreen.

Switching and dimming is not much functionality in my book - please feel
free to let me know what else it has to offer.  Also, is Clipsal's C-Bus
the
same as CeBus, or is it proprietary?

Switching and dimming is all I need from X10, C-Bus or any other control
system come to that.  AV is to be handled separately.  I can see that C-Bus
can do what I want - I just don't think that the £75 per light cost is
justified.
