I'm not much into AV so I don't follow it that closely. But, several people
who frequent this forum seem to think highly of it. It is a bit pricey.

I wasn't aware they added a hardware version.

I think you will find that AV oriented systems tend to treat lights and
appliances as an afterthought.

Systems that began from the lights and appliances side tend to ignore AV or
to do it poorly.
