Sure, there are more over the top movies being made, the "not
another..." series have humor that is far worse.

What would be a problem for Blazing Saddles these days is it ISN'T over
the top satire, it's just plain old everyday "holy crap he's right"
satire - which makes it far more uncomfortable for the politically correct.

But I think it could make it as a new movie these days.  The controversy
would just bolster the box office.
