Hi Stuart,


This goes to the PC for the sync connection. You use an extension type lead
with this. The idea is to have a different connector so you don't plug this
into an external device. This could in theory be replaced with the Type B
used on peripherals. As I said, I am open to suggestions.

You will have one hell of a job to damage this connector. This is the exact
same type as used on FLASH drives and is soldered to the PCB via 2 solder
lugs as well as the 4 way USB connection. Very rugged.

Whats the purpose of the PC plug, which looks prone to damage imho.
