Hi Paul,



Why not do what I do and make up a small adaptor cable with 2 D type, one
female, 1 male. You then wire pin to pin the RXD and GND and then connect
the +12V from the external power supply to the DTR pin on the module side.
This save the issue of modifying and causing issue with the module itself.
