RE: [OT] Vista MCE DVD playback
I don't know, - I did think this might be the case, and I tried to
find
out before I bought the mobo. I couldn't get a definitive answer, it's
not mentioned in the mobo manual, & no-one here could say for sure. In
the end I decided to get the mobo anyway & figure out a way round this
later... - shouldn't be hard right?
I'm actually now giving serious consideration to changing the KVM to a
dual-standard one... the KVM I have is good, but it's fairly old now..
It's a "proper" server KVM from Compaq, rackmount, 8-ports. - but
it
only supports PS2, and doesn't support what might now be considered
normal desktop resolutions... And because I've made a lot of headway in
the last few years in terms of reducing the number of servers I run, I'm
actually only using 2 out of the 8 ports, so I could very easily manage
with a 2-port KVM, just so long as I can get the same ease of use, and
support the "proper" compaq rack keyboard that I currently use
(also
PS2)..
Something like this would seem to fit the bill....
http://www.kvmchoice.co.uk/detail_switch.asp?id=10392
which is cheap as chips!
or, http://www.kvmchoice.co.uk/detail_switch.asp?id=10511
which isn't vastly more expensive...
