Re: Humax 9150T

Rob
For the telly I mentioned I eventually found that they don't update OTA
("over the air") at all, so I had to track down a file (and buy a
"null modem" cable).
For the 9200T I believe the unit has to be left in stand-by and the update
comes sometime during the night. I believe also that they only send the
updates occasionally, not every night, and also that the updates can be got
from a website. I have just checked that and found new software for your
box dated Dec 2008
http://www.humaxdigital.com/global/support/downloadcenter_model.aspx?category_seq=64
My thought was you have a problem, another list member doesn't, are you on
the same software?
HTHRgds
Peter

In part answer to my own post. The FAQ on the humax site says:

Humax will provide software updates for changes / improvements in there
products. These will be update automatically without any user
Intervention.

Seems also the software version is now up to 1.0.15. But it was released
in Oct 08 and my "last update" on my box was 10th Nov 08?

1.00.04 was an "essential stability update" !!!

Now I'm confused :-/ More Googling needed.

Rob
