I know what you're saying Steve but at the moment WHS is still Beta /
Release Candidate ... once it's on general release to the great unwashed
(which is of course imminent) then lets see how many there are. ;-)

Remember that *IDEALLY* I want to use Firewire800 rather than USB for the
increased transfer rate too...

I've seen the postings in the internet as to the causes of the
"problem" and
I know for certain that it *ISN'T* down to an impending drive failure as
drives that I had the issue with under Windows on Firewire are still
working
perfectly under OSX on Firewire several years later.
