Re: Running CAT5 and Ring Main together
Nigel makes some good comments re: interference.
Per the Regs, you also need a clear space between the mains and LV of
at least 50mm, or have them separated by a physical barrier i.e.
either run them in separate conduits (or in compatment trunking e.g.
dado trunking).
These restrictions don't apply if the LV cable sheath is rated for
mains voltages e.g. the C-Bus Pink Cat5.
