If anything happens to break a ring under any circumstances it can be
dangerous. 2.5 T+E is not rated for 30 amps - it's rated at 20 amps,
and can only be used on a 32 amp circuit when it's a ring, as the load
goes around the circuit both ways.

For this reason the connector block should be rated the same as the
cable, i.e. 20 amps.
