I haven't done the water bit yet James, the gas will be the next step -
I guess I'm focussing on the utilities I have to pay for first. This is
where I was looking though..

For anyone thinking of going the rotating disc sensing route on their
electrity do ring up your local electricity  providor and find when your
meter is due for replacement as you might be able to get a flahing led
one installed soon anyway which will make it easier.  I think they are
replaced every 10 years or so...
