Which meter did you get and from where?  I'd love to have something like
that near the house -- my water meter is in a manhole filled with earth
under a hedge the other side of a field and a cricket pitch, so something
more local would be a distinct advantage.  I should really see if I can
tempt the water board into moving it when we move the supply pipe this
spring, I guess.
