Thanks Stuart

That new Gigabyte board is certainly at a good price point. Have you
tried it out hooked up by component or s-vid?

Rob

Rob,

Still on list just taken a while to catch up.

For component out you now have a number of choices as well as the Aopen.

Gigabyte have just launched a socket939 mATX motherboard with a
component
and svideo out dongle the Gigabyte GA-K8N51PVMT-9. If you want to fit a
graphics card with component out Gigabyte do several passively cooled
ones,
both AGP and PCIe. All based around the 6600/6600GT chipset and with a
component, svideo and composite out dongle.

We have details of them all on the website as listed by Rob for anyone
interested.

Stuart

Has anyone actually tried the new(ish) board from AOpen (i915GMm-HFS)?
Which has component out:
http://shop.mediacomputers.co.uk/acatalog/Micro_ATX_Motherboards.html
You could then convert to RGB and Composite as required with something
like:
http://www.syncblaster.com/APTUS2_C2RGB.html
I've not seen anything else that is capable of the job but I would
dearly
love to achieve a decent picture (for Media Centre) that could be
distributed to RGB and by Composite to zones.
I would be prepared to take the plunge cost wise but would rather know
it
will work perfectly first.
Perhaps Stuart from GigaTek could enlighten us if he's still on the
list?

Rob
