You'll have a similar setup to me then - Kustom Amp in Node 0 (big cupboard
in office upstairs) and a Onkyo Amp for 7.1 surround in the AV room
downstairs (main reasons - YUV cabling to Plasma etc). Interestingly, I use
one of the channels of a Kat5 pair to send digital audio to the amp from
Sky+ in Node0 - works very well indeed :)
I also have a Kustom Zone in the AV Room - Line level output is sent via
the same Kat5 units to an input on the Onkyo amp - that way, with a source
select on the amp, I can hear exactly the same sources as around the house
in other Kustom zones, but through the significantly better capabilities of
the Onkyo amp.
The amp also has RS232 control etc for discreet level setting, source
selection etc etc.
