In keeping with my "crazy soltutions" day, I used to use a Kraus
and
Naimer multipole switch to select whether my front speakers were
driven by the AV amp, or the Naim.  It had lots of poles, so it also
switched the mains, so I couldn't screw up and put an amp on with no
speakers connected.

I cant recall the exact model of switch, but it was from RS, so that
limits the choice, though it was one qualified for low voltage use,
not all are - most K&N switches are for switching motors...

I had a plan to automate it toom using a motor to drive the
switch...  never happend though.  Another unfinished project...
