OT : Plumbing help as well

I have a few questions about central heating systems etc.

Wondered if anyone maybe able to help, and i'd e-mail them direct.

To do with replacing current central heating boiler for what I think 
is called a "system boiler", so I can get rid of the water tanks
in 
the loft etc.
I'd like a very powerful shower as well, so I want to make sure I 
buy the right system. I have a good plumber, but he isn't that 
available and knows zero about electrics and hooking boiler into x10.

Anyone know about central heating systems then ?
