Hi All,

Just recieved a short form catalogue from Maxim/Dallas and there are some
interesting new "1 Wire" devices out or planned for the near
future.

DS2401	Globally Unique Serial Number
unique and unalterable 64bit serial number

DS2890 Digital Pot
1 wire digital pot with onboard 64bit address for identification and
operation

DS2405 1 channel PIO (programmable input/output)
64bit address and 1024 bits of OTP eprom
(ideal for a remote switch or LED for HA use)

DS2406 2 channel PIO (programmable input/output)
64bit address and 1024 bits of OTP eprom
(ideal for a remote switch with LED for HA use)

DS2408 8 channel PIO (programmable input/output) [FUTURE DEVICE]
64bit address and 1024 bits of OTP eprom
(ideal for 4 remote switches with LED's or a small Keypad etc for HA use)

DS2450DS2438/DS2760  Analoge to digital converters

DS2480B  RS232 to 1 Wire Conversion Bridge
simplifies intefacing a PC to a 1 wire bus

DS2490	USB to 1 wire Conversion Bridge
simplifies intefacing a PC to a 1 wire bus

DS9502/DS9503  ESD Protection Diodes
provides protection upto 25kV

I know several people on the list are actively using 1 wire at the moment
and might like to investigate these devices. I dont have time to look at
them at the moment but they certainly look VERY interesting
