I think low level lighting looks nice - it would look great on some types
or
staircase too.

Upon first seeing Keith's prototype in-wall/in-ceiling multifunction
receiver I thought it would make a very good touch sensitive light switch
for a hall of landing - the perspex surround could be illuminated (in your
choice of colour ranging from red, through purple to blue, green, orange
and
yellow [groovy]) during the hours of darkness.  Of course, this would be
achieved using a central controller of some sort (HV, Comfort etc.)
