4 hoses.

Very advanced.

Most pumps round our way only have 2 hoses on each of the 4 pumps.

Usually....

Unleaded + 4 Star
Unleaded + 4 Star
Unleaded + Unleaded (Why 2 the same I DONT know!!)
Unleaded + Diesel.

As the driver of a Diesel vehicle it NEVER ceases to amaze me that the
driver of a Petrol engined vehicle will pull onto the EMPTY forecourt to
fill up and stops at the ONLY pump that has Diesel to fill their car with
Unleaded. THEN....despite the fact that there is a vehicle behind theirs
with a Diesel engine knocking away... they go into the shop, spend bloody
ages choosing sweets and papers etc before a leisurely stroll back to their
car.

Of course.....it ALWAYS happens when I am already in a rush :-((

I guess the fact that the people round here cant get to grips with filling
a
fuel tank explains why the local Homebase took so long to shift all the
goodies they had on the shelves.

Very good point ... however having met many of my neighbours and finding
that most of them have just about got to grips with choosing the right hose
from the four possibles on a garage forecourt then home automation is
somewhat beyond them.
