What do I have to d t get this working Steve ? I have a Nokia 3210 and a serial lead - is there some info you can point me t wards or some software ??

Yes you can. Was done way back when the Nokia 2140 was the in thing.

You could now even use one of the mobile phones units on an ISA/PCI card

Can you d this ??? ie have a mobile phone permanently connected t a PC that will transfer any SMS text messages it receives t the PC ? & vv ? It would be ideal way t control a HA setup or receive alarm / status messages.

Currently I can send SMS from my PC but not receive it so I'm half way there.

- if your phone has a serial port on it can you send sms from a pc and receive them to a pc ??-
