This is Rush Limbaugh-talk, parroting the fact-free hypocrisy of AM talk
radio.

It is sad to see Dave bitterly smearing "environmentalists", and
journalists, and scientists, and the academic community, and regulatory
agencies, and the medical profession, and elected officials, and other
entire realms of positive and necessary human endeavor.

Dave has shown that he can make very positive contributions in some
specialized technical areas. But this part of his legacy is increasingly
negative and ugly and a disservice to himself and the comp.home.automation
newsgroup in my opinion.
