Re: X10 TM751 Endless Dim Problem



The HCPRF receives RF from all 16 housecodes and all 16 unitcodes and
transmits PLC to all 16 housecodes and all 16 unitcodes. I haven't checked
how many of the function codes it handles but know it handles all the
standard ones (On, Off, Bright, Dim) listed in the CM17A protocol doc...

plus All Lights On & All Lights Off. Some transceivers also handle All Units
Off and some of the functions can be triggered by more than one RF code.

The Smarthome online specs in the link I gave seem to have been written by
someone who has never used one. Look at the User manual (from Leviton) which
says, "Cat. No. HCPRF functions as a remote control receiver which accepts
ON/OFF, DIM, BRIGHT, and ALL LIGHTS ON/OFF commands of up to 256 DHC codes
from DHC remote controls."

That actually makes for 576 codes, 256x2 (On, Off) + 16x4 (Dim, Bright, All
Lights On, All Lights Off).

NOTE: There are some limitations on what can be connected to the
solid-state-relay.
