Totaline uses 418MHz RF. All of the RF-capable, high-end, programmable
remotes (e.g. Philips Pronto) in North America also use 418MHz RF making it
an easy matter to control the Totaline with the remotes.
Programmable thermostats have been available for 25 or more years (along
with subsidies and incentives for installing them). I don't know whether
Totaline RF thermostats can handle multiple sensor inputs.
