RHC: Damn !! ....isnt that the truth. It's a continual battle with the
phone or cable company to keep my customer's alarms working properly.
Every day I get a "failure to communicate" report from the station and
invariably it's because some employee of these companies or their
subcontractors has messed things up when the customer switched service
from one to the other. And even worse, these two companies don't seem
to care !!. It's got to be from 5 to 10% of my service work fixing
problems that shouldn't happen if these idiots would only take a
couple of minutes to learn to do things properly.
I can only wonder how many customers out there served by alarm
companies not using test signals, have alarm systems that can't
communicate to the station, and they don't know it.......
