That reminds me of something one of my favorite aunts told me a few years ago.
Her grandson told her he needed to talk to her about something personal. He
was very nervous getting ready to break the news to her. Finally he blurted
out, "Grandma, I'm gay."
Aunt Lil said, "Well, that's a relief. I thought you were going to tell me
you'd become a Republican." :^)
