Never liked that tool. I would always use a pin or point of my pocket
knife to administer a dozen or so pricks, in addition to the use of
the Silver-Print. Never would foil windows heavily condensated.
Small sections, mostly in the winter, I warmed up with a hair dryer.
On rare occasion I would use the dryer to hasten the drying on a
patch. Time was money and needed to get to the next job.

It was always a fun and interesting time when on the top of a step
ladder just inside the front door of a convenience store (especially
the 7-11's when they first arrived in Massachusetts -- we had all of
their eastern Massachusetts stores - when they actucally closed at
11:00PM) I would observe the courteous customers pause a reasonable
length of time until I finished applying the foil and descend from the
ladder. At the other extreme were the clods and idiots without
concern for anyone but themselves would look up once, then fling the
door open and squeeze by the ladder.
