RHC: Wagging my finger at you Jack??? Hardly ! I see no happiness for
anyone of us who have to endure these prices. They WILL affect
everything we do or buy in the near future. My point is that we have
to know what our cost increases are and you can't do that without
knowing how it's going to affect all the other things in society that
affect us. I might have a bit of an advantage over some since I have a
proprietary software program for this purpose that I used when I
worked for a large organization. It's old, and probably outdated, but
it works beautifully for calculating what I need to set my rates. The
only problem right now is I can't predict where everything else is
going price wise, so I'm in the dark as much as anyone for the moment.
But I did plug in the fuel increases and they didn't affect the bottom
line more than 2% on the short term....long term ?....we'll see.
My original point was that you guys south of the border don't really
have that much to complain about regarding prices. It's all relative I
suppose, but you still have some of the cheapest gas in the world down
there, while everyone else has been suffering high prices all along
(whatever the cause....). Sorry you seem to have taken that as a
personal slight.....
