Re: New ADT Homeland Security Program

Like Clint Eastwood said in the movie Unforgiven "Deserve ain't got nothin'
to do with it". I don't know the "man from Ottawa" from the man in the moon.
I wasn't trying to be offensive or not to be offensive. There was no reason
to be either one. There are legitimate questions in the post. Please pay
less attention to the sizzle and more to the steak. Again it wasn't meant to
be offensive. If someone wants to describe something one way or another
isn't it fair to examine his or her credentials? I don't want to go Bass
fishing here, but political bromides like Bush is a ...FILL IN THE BLANK
where the blank says less than normal intelligence I really want to know.
Although I hear that often sort of thing, as a practical matter there are
few people in real life that I (or you I supect) ever meet that on on par
with him. You might disagree with that statement, but I have a good deal of
first hand knowledge to prove otherwise and would. Being smart doesn't make
you a good president necessarily. Being a bad president doesn't cause your
IQ to mysteriously fall. You might think Bush is an aweful president. If so
then say that straight out. Maybe say why you think that or maybe say
nothing at all. Most folks are their own experts at how they feel about
something or someone. Richard Nixon was very bright, maybe the smartest of
the his century. A good president? Who could see past the flaws to know,
certainly he couldn't himself. Over all he would fall on the very bad
president scale in most people's eyes. Didn't mean he wasn't extremely
bright either before, during, or after his term in office. William Clinton?
Probably not as smart as Nixon. A good president? Too soon to tell. If you
or he were offended try to read the post again and just honestly answer the
questions. He felt free to share his views, why be shy now? Please share
more. I always want to be ready to try and learn more whenever I can. I
thought we agreed on one thing for certain, he seems glad that he lives in
Canada and so am I. See? Both very happy and that is my "normal" state of
mind.
