It isn't that much different, generally speaking if its not in the contract
or a rider attached to the contract then it won't happen. I didn't see
anything in ADTs contract about a six month cancellation option, but
according to the links below ADT's contracts no longer auto renew for a year
at a time, it looks like at the end of the initial term they convert to a
month to month contract.
