DSC Encore PIR

I have a DSC alarm system with 3 Encore (EN-301D?) PIR's. I had asked for
pet friendly sensors but these ones clearly aren't and have been quoted an
exorbitant price to have them replaced. Can anyone tell me if they actually
need replacing or is this a selectable feature?
