Re: CADDX NX-6 question from homeowner

Hi when they called back did they told you that the device was rented or
some other stuff like that...

If not they have no rights to keep you hostage like that

the alarm system is yours and the only stuff they can clam as there's is the
dialler phone number and id of the panel....

I would send them a letter asking them to remove the data that they clam as
them and to put back the default programming for the installer code...
and leave all other info intact..or you would escalate this to your
layer...this can be done by phone by a downloading software
you just have to provide them with the new phone number the panel is
connected too...

they could ask for a minimal fee..witch could not be much more then 50$ (if
they ask for more they are crooks) for covering the time expense of there
employee

they could ask you to provide them a letter saying that they are not
responsible anymore for monitoring your house..

If they don't want to do it by download tell them that a service call for
doing this kind of job is less then 10 minute and since they cant do it by
download (witch almost all company do) you don't feel like paying a whole
service call fee ..(like a minimum charge of 1 hour)

and in my opinion if someone cant do such job by download its a damn good
reason to not use them for your monitoring
