Howdy,

DCM - the xPL Device Configuration Manager -- is now available.

DCM will discovery the xPL Devices on your network, enumerate them and
allow
your to configure them (if they are configurable). It also allows xPL
logging and sending of xPL messages.

DCM is similar to xPLHAL in it's ability to configure devices, though
xPLHAL
does a lot more than just device configuration.

DCM is written in Java and is available for any platform that can run
modern
Java. Even windows folks may want to take a look as it uses a slightly
different format for listing and configuring devices (key word: slightly --
there is a limit in terms of how different it could be from xPLHAL based on
the need to do xPL device configuration).

DCM is a stand-alone application. It does not need xPL4Java installed to
run.

You can learn mroe about it at http://www.xPL4Java.org/xPL4Java
