xPL-LCD Menu,s

Hi All
Incrementing and Decrementing a Global to step thru the Menu,s
works but the global value is out of sync...i guess it depends on when its
updated...

I have decided to increment and decrement a Menu number and send a trig
message when whenever Menu up or Menu Down is pressed.....ie i hope this is
allowable ???

On first menu up press

device=MENU_1
type=INPUT
current=HIGH

On Second menu up press

device=MENU_2
type=INPUT
current=HIGH

On Third menu up press etc

device=MENU_3
type=INPUT
current=HIGH

Now a Menu down is pressed etc
device=MENU_2
type=INPUT
current=HIGH

If decremented to Menu 0 this is seen as Exiting the menu system so Menu 0
Determinator clears the lcd...............

Each Menu Determinator obviously sends out a Menu osd message and also
updates the Menu global so when Buttons 1 to 4 is pressed users can check
these buttons in conjunction with the menu global and act
accordingly............

I dont really want to code a max menu number into the pic as it will mean
having to make it programmmable......

What i intend to do is ...have a Determinator which watches for a value
greater than my current number of Menu,s and sends out a Warning OSD
message
if Greater than the Menu list..
Does this sound ok...???

Frank
