Once the rio finishes playing the queued songs it clears the list,
therefore
sending a play has no effect.

Add the tracks to the message like:
Command=clear
Extended=album all saints
Extended=track my song 1
Extended=track my song 2
Command=play

I'll be mainly off list for a couple of weeks, but if you have any queries
