Thanks for the pointers, I seem to be up and running.

In testing i got the XPLHal to send a TTS 'wake up' message to the
rio, turn a light on and then send a rio 'play' message that started
the rio from where it was in its playlist.

However, this morning, after the Rio had completed its queued songs
from the night before,it sent the TTS message ok but the 'play'
message didn't start the music playing. I did a status of the rio and
it shows it as 'stopped'. I tried sending 'power on', then 'play' but
that didn't work either.

Any idea's what the correct xpl-rio commands are?

thanks

bill
