Installer Package

Hi all,

On the xPL Development and VB6 pages of my website I've added a link to an
installer download package, which is actually an installer for xPL_DevCom
(<a href="http://www.xplhal.com/xpl/xPLInstall.zip";>http://www.xplhal.com/xpl/xPLInstall.zip</a>).

Installing this will ensure that the xpl ocx, ms comm and ms winsock
controls are installed. These are required for all the vb6 xpl app's
(though
comm control is only required by app's needing access to a serial port).

Please note the following:

TTS and RioTTS also require the MS Sapi 5.1 (either 6mb TTS version or 82mb
SDK)

Voice requires the MS Sapi 5.1 SDK

RioWin requires Windows Media Player 9

Meteor requires the licenced ActiveCID ocx from

CM12U requires the Keware CM11a ocx

We cannot distribute any of the above items.

I have it on my 'to do' list to convert the vb6 Meteor/CM12U app's to work
natively so that the ocx controls are not required, and will ask John if I
can steal the code from his .net app's.

Regards
Tony
